Before I started at Netmark, the word SEO service was relatively new to my vocabulary. I had done mostly graphic design and some web design with many years of retail sales. I knew that somehow the Google bot was sent out from Skynet and was sent on a mission to locate these websites. Much like in the movie Terminator, the bot would show up at the door and ask: “Netmark.com?” and the website responded “yes” at that point the website was indexed.

Much to my embarrassment when I started at Netmark, I was assured that wasn””t the case. I cried for a few days much like finding out that the Easter Bunny isn””t real (Sorry to burst that bubble). What I did find out is that there is a world out there of people that make SEO service a full time job. I really didn””t even know the full extent of the term SEO or Search Engine Optimization. I guess you could say that there are people that never see the light of day and are cooped up in a cave with internet access, a computer and a limited supply of water and food; these are referred to as SEO techs. I have been living among the species for several months now and I find them quiet interesting. They make it their life to make sure your site gets found by the Search Engines.

SEO Service entails a couple of things. The first thing is knowing who and what you want to go after. Then the process starts where we consult the magic crystal ball to show us what keywords would be best for you. After that we begin to code, code and more code. Basically we make it happen. We take Google, Yahoo and Bing all out to Dinner and talk nicely to them so you don””t have to. If you””re still reading then I will congratulate you and say that you must be interested in having some SEO service done to your site! Let us help you get found by the search engines. We have such a great team that works here at Netmark and I learn new tricks of the trade every day. I have seen some sites go from nothing to making an amazing turn around. So if you feel like it is time to turn your site around please take a look at our SEO services we offer.

Professional Web Design and SEO does exist in Idaho

Idaho SEOA person living somewhere other than Idaho might not see us as up to date on the latest web happenings or even the new social media movement. But, after living in Idaho all these years I’ve noticed one thing about this low population state. Technology is a big part of people’s lives and is heavily relied upon for work, school, and play. The Idaho school system is heavy on technology integration and working with the internet. Naturally, we have great Idaho Web Design companies and Idaho SEO firms within the state. This high reliance on technology allows for people who enjoy web development and search engine optimization to make a living at what they do best.

Idaho SEO is becoming more and more important all the time. If you are a local business based in Idaho having your site optimized for to be relevant for local keywords is essential. Just think how many potential customers are typing in “Idaho” before they search for your products and services. As a business owner you may not think many people in the area search for Idaho information locally, but having grown up in this state I can assure you that’ simply not the case. Idaho Search Engine Optimization is vital since so many people, especially the generation now in college, uses the internet.

If you are a business owner and currently not using one of the best marketing tools, your own website, you are losing out on huge potential. There are many options for Idaho Web Design, leaving no excuse to not contact a great company such as Netmark.com and get started TODAY. I’ve spoken to many local businesses who refuse to consider developing a website; yet others finally begin to see the benefits. Realistically it’s not a good business practice to be without a website in this modern age. Take it from someone who has seen businesses go from almost nothing, to dominating their market. Idaho Web Design is the way to go for a local professional website.

Choosing an SEO Company

SEO Company

How do I choose the right SEO Company? You might be asking yourself this question because of an article you read, maybe someone told you that you need optimization or you simply want your website to rank higher on the search engines. No matter what the reason you are here looking for answers. Here are a few tips to help you choose an SEO Company that works for you.

Get a free SEO Quote
A good SEO company will provide you with a free quote to optimize your site. This should include a list of items that will be done on your site both initially and for the months to come. Receive a free quote from us to begin.

What is the contract length?
A good SEO firm will not lock you into long term contracts. Optimizing a website does take time and will usually take around three months to start seeing increased rankings. Even with the delay you should still be able to go monthly on the contract and cancel with little notice.

What techniques and tools are used?
You will want to question the SEO Company on what techniques and tools they will use to optimize your site. Certain techniques like doorway pages and link building programs will actually hurt your rankings with the search engines. They should be able to explain the tools and give you updates of what is being changed on your site. Feel free to check out our list of free seo tools to see what types of tools are available.

Update and Reporting
Knowing what is going on with your website is vital to your business. It is representing you so you should be aware of what is on your site. Receiving updates of changes to your site and reports showing ranking results and targeted keywords are the minimum that you should receive.

Don’t be afraid to get quotes from multiple SEO companies and compare. This is your website and company image that you are dealing with. Choosing the wrong SEO Company damages your image more than theirs in terms of search rankings. Choosing the right one will help your company grow and maintain the company image that you have worked so hard to build.

Small Business SEO

Thursday, August 13th, 2009

I read an article back in January entitled The Search Gap Between Consumers And Small Business Advertisers. I””ve been in internet marketing world for years, but the information provided in the article still surprised me. According to the underlying study the article was based off of, 56% of small businesses do not have a website. Troubling, I know, but it gets worse. In the same study, 4000 internet users were asked how they most commonly find information on local businesses. The results were as follows:

82% Search engines
57% Print yellow pages
53% Local newspapers
49% Internet yellow pages
49% Television
38% Direct mail
32% White pages directories

Now connect the dots. Eighty-two percent of internet users use search engines to find local businesses, yet only 44% of small businesses have a website. What a missed opportunity for those small businesses who have yet to create their own website.

My opinion, nearly every business needs a presence online. But just having a presence isn””t going to make transform your business. You, as a small business owner, need to get your products and services in front of the right people. To do this, try collaborating with a good internet marketing company to get your website quality, relevant traffic. Maybe you can ask them for a one time consultation if you have a limited budget. At the very least, include your company profile in the Google, Yahoo, and Bing local business directories. Then sit back and see what a little internet advertising can do for your business.

Pay-Per-Click Consulting Strategies

Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

If you are new to Internet Marketing and wondering “What is the best way to get visible on the Web?” Then you are one of thousands of people in the same scenario. Many online businesses fail because they do not get noticed by their customers. A great looking website can only get your business so far. The next step is the benefits you see through Marketing.

One great way to get noticed quickly and efficiently is to hire a Pay-Per-Click management company to help you achieve the results you should expect from spending a marketing budget on your business. Through Pay Per Click (PPC) Management, you are able to yield great results with sophisticated tactics that will allow searchers on the internet find you and convert your traffic to valuable and meaningful customers.

A large portion of individuals may try to manage their Pay-Per-Click campaign themselves without the knowledge or training needed to run that campaign in a profitable and worthwhile manner. Many times, the result of this idea is a negative return on their investment. This is where a good Pay-Per-Click consultant can help you get your business and marketing plan going in the right direction. When you find a Pay-Per-Click company that is as dedicated to getting the same great results that you are looking for, you will find that their Pay-Per-Click consulting fees will be minimal to the amount of return that you see from the campaign. A great Pay-Per-Click consultant will show you very easily how the benefits can and will outweigh the costs.

Pay-Per-Click consulting can be very valuable information. When looking for a Pay-Per-Click company to consult with, ensure that they can speak to more than just getting your business in the sponsored links. Look for information on Pay-Per-Click Management including campaigns that are based on the following areas:
• Budget Based
• Rank Based
• Conversion Based
• Return on Investment Based

(click on the link above to learn the benefits of each type of pay per click campaign style)

Pay-Per-Click consulting takes time to understand and learn the best way to benefit a specific campaign. As with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) each Pay-Per-Click campaign will have different needs, ideas and outcomes that can make or break the financial return that you will see based on how it is managed. This is why it is critical to know and understand exactly what style of Pay-Per-Click management you need.

I have worked with many online businesses that have had bad experiences with Pay Per Click because a Pay-Per-Click company took consulting or management fees that were substantially higher than most, and in return brought in a much smaller amount than they were spending on their campaign. This is a great example of a Pay-Per-Click company that does not have their client’s best interest at hand. It is critical to your online business to be noticed on the Internet. One way to get there is to find a Pay-Per-Click company that understands that they are only as successful as their clients.

Pay Per Click Marketing: 3 Fast Benefits

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

Many of you who are somewhat new to internet marketing, or more specifically Pay Per Click, seem to shy away from pay per click marketing because they don’t completely understand what it’s all about and how it all works. Believe it or not, it’s really not as complicated as it appears at first glance, and offers some quick benefits for new online marketers or their clients.

Measurable Results: PPC marketing is wonderful because it will offer results you can see – quickly. With almost real-life tracking, click data, traffic habits, and performance data in front of you, you can see how your marketing dollars are working, or even if they are. You can see such data as impressions, click-throughs, conversions, actual sales, sales dollars, visitors to specific landing pages, etc.

“Inexpensive” Data: Because you can view results of pay per click marketing in real time, it’s relatively easy to run test campaigns for new products/services. It’s even easy to measure the viability of old products and services and see how they would do.

With this information that is so easy to find, you can trim and/or expand your product and service offerings down to the most profitable keywords. This can save thousands in unnecessary inventory, equipment, and/or labor investment. Over time you’ll be able to identify what keywords are producing your clicks and what you are “wasting” you money on.

Immediate Results: Pay per click marketing, unlike search engine optimization can show you some immediate traffic. You can literally have a campaign up and running in less than 10 minutes time. You write the ad, set the budget or cost per click, direct the link to your landing page – and voila, you’re setup. It’s nice not to have to wait for a TV ad or radio ad to run, a phone book to be distributed, or a billboard to be put up. It’s there.

Simply click; your ad is now being shown to thousands of potential customers.
This time of year, most people or companies aren’t giving too much thought to their marketing campaigns, as they have usually decided where to spend the money in marketing for the year. If you haven’t looked into pay per click advertising, you need to think again. PPC for most people ends up being the competitive edge to grab some of those additional sales. With the holiday season just around the corner, this is not an avenue that is easily ignored.
