LINK Functions

The LAN Integration and Network Kernel (LINKÔ) is an integrated program management tool which

provides corporate and government program offices, the ability to distribute pertinent technical and

programmatic information to all authorized users. LINK is currently supporting over 2500 users

representing approximately 50 different organizations throughout the country.

 

Information currently maintained and distributed through the LINK system includes action items,

engineering changes (routing changes for review and evaluation), guidance and policy, program office

standard operating procedures, executive calendar, correspondence and document handling including

management, routing, and archiving.

 

LINK is the receptacle for the “corporate knowledge-base”, providing continuity between projects and

personnel turnover.  In addition, LINK greatly facilitates the Program Manager’s ability to achieve the

ever-present goal of improving communications’ and corporate processes, both internally and externally.
