Netmark, in an effort to help companies interested improving their website, be it through Search Engine Optimization, Pay-Per-Click Advertising, or others, launched Netmark University at the end of 2012 to help companies that have a need to market on the internet but do not have the funds to do so. Netmark University is a series of videos discussing different aspects of internet marketing. Divided into two different presentations a week, Netmark University consists of a presentation and a webinar. On Monday, Netmark University broadcasts the aptly titled Make Your Mark Monday, and then on Wednesday Netmark broadcasts, Webinar Wednesday. Make Your Mark Monday is devoted to theory and ideas, while Webinar Wednesday is devoted to hands-on applications of the presented theories. John Broadbent, the Chief Marketing Officer of Netmark, teaches Netmark University.

Each week Netmark tackles a different aspect of internet marketing and presents complex ideas and concepts in easily understandable segments. John Broadbent, who has an extensive education in marketing, expounds not only the foundations of internet marketing, but also builds upon his education in marketing to teach fundamental ideas of marketing. The ideas presented in Mark Your Mark Monday have both online and offline applications, as well.
Netmark’s five areas of specialty include Pay-Per-Click Advertising, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Marketing, Conversion Rate Optimization, and Reputation Management. As such, the topics covered in Netmark University tend toward those areas.
Most recently, John Broadbent presented a Make Your Mark Monday entitled, “Scientific Conversion Rate Optimization”. This Make Your Mark Monday included the scientific process of improving the conversion rate of any website. John talks extensively about the pitfalls to avoid, such as multivariate testing and sample size, as well as lays out how to identify goals and directions within a Conversion Rate Optimization campaign.
